London on My Mind

London holds a special place in my heart. I was once privileged to be one of the fortunate seven million plus souls who inhabit this historic and cosmopolitan city. My flat was within earshot of Big Ben, and looking out my living room window across St. George's square, I could see the inland sea waters of the River Thames.

The two years I spent in Albion, as England is known, were a whirlwind of academic and personal learning times. Returning to a university setting after twenty years of corporate life was a challenge in itself. Moving to London on my own was another. I cherish every moment of those learning experiences, and am grateful for that portion of my life journey.

In the immortal words of Samuel Johnson, "When a man tires of London, he tires of life". I shall never tire of London, or dear Albion.
