"Oh Great Spirit, let me know the lessons you have hidden in every rock and leaf.

Several years ago I was fortunate to attend a day-long conference given by Ted Andrews. I purchased his book "Animal Medicine" and have kept it on my bookcase, using it regularly ever since.
Lately, signs from the animal kingdom have seemed to be increasing. Maybe I'm just paying attention to them more.

There is a bluebird family nesting behind our office, and a moon sycamore and a holly tree shelter them. Sometimes, the male bluebird even perches on the windowsill next to my computer and taps on the window just to see if I'm listening!
This morning a butterfly flew right in front of me and lightly touched me with its gossamer wings as I was stepping out the front door of my home. Humbled and intrigued, I looked up the meaning for butterfly. It is a symbol of transformation. Something I did not know before was found on a search on the internet. Some believe that butterflies are messengers from our relatives who have passed on to the afterlife.
This made me smile, for I had been asking my angels for help to speak with my Mom. And then voila! This delightful ethereal messenger greeted me happily this morning!

One of my favorite passages in the Bible is about angels and messengers. "Be ever mindful of strangers, for sometimes we have entertained angels unaware."
May you be filled with transformative moments of peace and joy, and may the bluebird of happiness come to nest at your home!
Namaste.
