The Silver Lining

Day's End, Lake Murray SC

"O! It is pleasant with a heart at ease
Just after sunset or by moonlight skies,
To make the shifting clouds
be what you please."
    ~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge

As the summer season begins to retreat slowly, the temperatures start to lower and bring relief across the South and this nation.

An opportunity to watch the sunset on Lake Murray with family this week brought much joy and happiness. Heaven and Nature were singing, and hummingbirds and herons were in abundance before the Moon rose into the night and cast her golden sparkles upon the waters.

Dock's End, Lake Murray SC

One of my aunts was visiting this week. Mikie is a cancer survivor and we spent time together, walking the edge of the lake and taking photographs. When we were children, we enjoyed many a summer's day together at my grandparents' home on Lake Marion. Mikie has always been more like an older sister for me, since she's only four years older.

As the seasons are changing, so is our world. The human consciousness is shifting to a more positive tune, as our Earth and all her inhabitants are receiving the rising frequencies of love and light.

Clouds Swimming

Being with our families and friends, and living each day with a spirit of love and gratitude, helps us all to ride the wave of joy that is this shift of the Ages.

Spending time in Nature helps reinforce the peace and happiness that is the real spirit of our lives, and our birthright.

"Look for the silver lining
Whenever a cloud appears in the blue.
Remember some where the sun is shining
And so the right thing to do
Is make it shine for you.

A heart full of joy and gladness
Will always banish sorrow and strife.
So always look for the silver lining,
And try to find the sunny side of life."
~ "Look for the Silver Lining", lyrics by B.G. DeSylva
